Shop categories, prices and quick-buy defaults — a full default shop ships with the plugin.
shop.yml holds the shop categories, prices and quick-buy defaults. A full default shop ships configured, and it is exactly the shop you play on the demo server — install, start, play.
The shop covers the classic BedWars categories and is fully customisable: categories, contents and prices are all data-driven from shop.yml.
| Category | Contents |
|---|---|
| Blocks | Bridging and defense blocks |
| Melee | Melee weapons |
| Armor | Armor pieces |
| Ranged | Ranged weapons |
| Potions | Potion effects |
| Special items | Fireballs, dream defenders, bed bugs, pop-up towers and bridge eggs |
Every player can arrange their own quick-buy slots from any shop category — blocks, melee, armor, ranged, potions and special items — and that layout is saved permanently. In the next match, the shop behaves exactly the way each player expects: their essential items are one click away, every single game. A fresh player receives a sensible, balanced default layout, while the Edit Quick Buy menu lets them rearrange everything; the bottom row holds the special-item slots and the save action. The defaults a fresh player receives are part of shop.yml.
Team-shared upgrades — sharpness, protection, haste, heal pool, base traps, dragon buffs and more — are available in-game during matches and can be previewed with /bw upgradesmenu (permission bw.player).
Note:The default shop is the proof of a simple promise: the plugin arrives already playable. Anything you change in shop.yml updates the game for every arena.
