Quick Setup

BedWars ships playable. The shop (categories, prices, quick-buy layout), generators, levels, tokens, quests and messages all come pre-configured and match what you play on the demo server — install, start, and the server is playable. You can open to players immediately and customize at your own pace from there.

#Create an arena with /bw setup

Arena creation is an interactive in-game wizard: /bw setup (permission bw.admin). The commands below are the building blocks the wizard drives — every one of them is also available directly:

Teams can be created automatically with /bw autocreateteams (mode), an existing arena's configuration can be copied with /bw clonearena (src) (dst), and arenas are organized with /bw arenagroup (arena) (group). Arenas can be toggled reliably at any time with /bw enable/disablearena (name) — no restart required.

#Ready defaults — what already works

• The full item shop: categories, prices and quick-buy defaults, identical to the demo server.
• Generators: timing and resources ready out of the box (generators.yml).
• Levels and tokens: XP per level and token earnings per action (levels.yml, money.yml).
• Quests: daily, weekly and seasonal tracks with progress tracking and token/XP rewards.
• Messages: a complete default message set (messages_en.yml), multi-language ready.
• Add-ons: sensible presets in addons.yml — a disabled add-on consumes nothing.

#Configuration file map

Every value is editable in the plugins/BedWars/ directory. Nothing is locked away — and more importantly, you do not have to edit any of it to go live.
