The real 11-command table: /system subcommands, animations, kaboom, economy, book, fireworks, join messages and emojis — with every permission node.
System registers exactly eleven commands, all declared in plugin.yml and re-bound at runtime so they survive even stripped server jars. Permission is checked per subcommand, not per plugin, so staff roles split cleanly — a moderator can run the lobby utilities without touching economy administration. Commands of a disabled addon do not disappear from your tab completion and then error: they swap to a silent no-op handler.
| Command | Permission | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/system (alias /sys) — subcommands reload|status|backup|restart|stop|setspawn|build|animations|help | system.use base; per-subcommand nodes below | Core management command. Console may use reload, status, backup, restart, stop and help |
/system reload|status|backup|restart|stop | system.reload / system.status / system.backup / system.restart / system.stop | Reload every config; live status with next-restart countdown and last-backup validity; manual backup; scheduled restart with countdown; managed stop |
/system setspawn [pos1|pos2|clear|info] | system.setspawn | Place the spawn, define or clear the random-spawn region corners (player-only) |
/system build | system.build | Toggle the per-player build-mode override against world protection (player-only) |
/system animations <list|create|delete|tp|info|stop> | system.animations.use (list/info), system.animations.admin (create/delete/tp/stop) | Manage the 33 decorative animation types — create takes <type> [radius]; tab completion knows types and live animation ids |
/kaboom <player|all> | kaboom.command.use (default op) | Launch a player, a comma-separated list, or everyone in the configured world; per-player and global cooldowns |
/doublejump | none — player-only toggle | Toggle double jump for yourself; automatically disables AutoFly/fly first (mutual exclusion) |
/book <id> | interactivebooks.open + per-book view permission | Open a configured interactive book; tab-completes book ids. Each book can also register its own chat-command alias |
/fw, /firework | firework.launch (default true); bypasses firework.bypass.cooldown, firework.bypass.world | Fire five random lobby fireworks (feet + overhead) |
/money <give|take|set|help> (aliases /economy, /eco) | economy.command.give / .take / .set / .help (give/take/set default op) | Economy administration — requires the economy addon to be enabled |
/balance [player] (alias /bal) | economy.command.balance (default true) | Show your own or another player's balance |
/pay <player> <amount> | economy.command.pay (default true) | Pay another player — race-safe transfer, self-pay blocked |
/joinmessage [version|help|reload|checkformat] (alias /jjoin) | base open; joinmessage.admin for reload/checkformat (default op) | Version and help; reload the config; checkformat shows the effective join format for yourself or a target |
/emoji [page] (alias /emojis) | chatemojis.list (default true) | Paginated list of the available chat emojis, 10 per page |
/system is the management entry point and covers the operations you will use daily. reload applies configuration without a restart, status reports the next auto-restart countdown, any manual restart in progress and the last backup's validity, backup triggers the tar+gzip backup manager on demand, restart schedules a managed countdown you can cancel, stop drives the managed shutdown path, setspawn places the lobby spawn and region, and build toggles your own build mode. Every subcommand carries its own permission node, so system.status for helpers and system.restart only for seniors is a two-line permissions change.
The economy nodes split into a reading set and an administration set: economy.command.balance and economy.command.pay default to true for all players, while economy.command.give, .take and .set default to op only. Balances and payments keep working whether an external Vault provider is installed or System's built-in providers are answering — the nodes do not change. Remember that the whole economy addon waits behind addons.economy.enabled and Vault availability, as described in Installation.
Setting expectations honestly: System has no `/spawn`, `/fly`, `/tp`, `/gamemode`, `/warp`, `/kit` or `/heal` commands, and no /baltop. Spawn handling is automatic — join teleports, respawn handling and void-fall rescue do the work that a /spawn command would. Flight is automatic through AutoFly in allowed worlds, with double jump as the opt-in alternative. A balance leaderboard API exists in the Redis storage layer, but it is not wired to any command — the plugin does not ship half-features under misleading names.
Tip:Two bypass permissions live in the addon configs rather than plugin.yml: system.antiswear.bypass and system.antiafk.bypass. Grant them to staff so moderation tools never inconvenience the people running them.
Note:Permission nodes are plain strings, so they drop into any provider: the built-in Vault service layer works with nothing installed, and GroupManager or PermissionsEx get native reflective hooks when present.
