The Pit is delivered as a personal 1:1 build: after checkout, the developer prepares your build and delivers it with your license details directly in your Discord ticket — the platform documentation covers payment methods, including Paying with Crypto. The install itself is short, but it has one hard prerequisite the other Nerotek products do not: MongoDB is required, because it is the storage backend for every profile, stat and perk, not an optional integration.

Warning:Do not start the install without a reachable MongoDB instance. The storage backend is architectural — the plugin expects it the way it expects the server jar. If you are unsure how to size or place it, ask in the DM; setup help is included with support.
That warning has a safety net worth knowing about: if MongoDB goes away *after* launch, the circuit breaker does not crash logins — players join instantly into a safe mode with default profiles, a probe retries every five seconds, and profiles restore automatically the moment the database answers. Plan for MongoDB; the plugin plans for its failure.

Tip:Because progression lives in MongoDB, backing that database up is part of operating The Pit — the plugin's data is your players' progression history. Redis is a cache; MongoDB is the memory.
